Inspired Turns One!

Today marks the one year anniversary of my Inspired blog! 🎉

To celebrate I'm making this one short, haha! You're probably on holiday right now anyway, or at least making the most of summer weather, and I assume you don't want to spend much time in front of your computer.

Birdsong x Judith P. Raynault (c'est moi!)

I have some exciting news: I collaborated with Birdsong and created an illustration for a t-shirt! I also adapted one of my 'women reading' illustrations for another t-shirt, to be revealed on the launch date (August 4th).

Birdsong is exactly the type of fashion brand I'm happy to be associated with. On top of using sustainable fabrics, they work with people facing barriers to employment and pay everyone at least a London living wage. Since the company was established in 2014, they’ve created over £150k in revenue for women’s organisations, and the low income women those organisations support.

There will be a pop-up shop from August 4th to 7th, where you'll be able to see samples of the t-shirts. They will be available to pre-order there or online. You'll also find Birdsong's bestselling recycled gold and silver jewellery, soon-to-be-discontinued slogan tees and one of a kind samples with reductions of up to 50%. If you live in London, come down to 69B boutique on Broadway Market in Hackney!

Book recommendation

My book recommendation is whichever book lifts your spirits. It is summer. It's time to get some well-deserved rest and disconnect from anxiety-inducing news—if only for a little while. If you're curious, my book of choice is Anne of Green Gables. (The real Anne for me will forever be Megan Follows). 🧡
