I created this book cover for an illustration I made, and thought it’d be nice to see what it would look like in real life!
The three types of flowers represent the three nationalities or heritage of the main characters in the book: the English rose; the water lily we can find on Bangladesh's national emblem; and Jamaica’s national flower, the lignum vitae.
Hopefully the other elements I included are fun for people who've read the book to discover because they'll understand what they mean.
