I read Why I’m No Longer Talking to White People About Race, written by Reni Eddo-Lodge, in 2017, and it had such an impact on me that I still think about it regularly. It is a difficult read at times for a white person, especially if you think you’re not part of the problem, but that’s what makes the book necessary. For British people, you also get to learn about a part of your history that’s not taught in school but feels like it should be.
