Fleabag
A few weeks after the last episode of Fleabag aired on ‘the Beeb’ (trying on British slang to blend in, don’t judge me) I found myself still thinking about the second series a lot.
It’s not so much that I can relate to the characters’ lives, although I certainly can relate to their emotions, but it’s the dialogue and the storytelling that got me like 😲. It’s no mean feat to go from hilarious to punch in the gut in one scene and do it brilliantly. I’m in awe of Phoebe Waller-Bridge’s talent.
The scene I drew here is the moment this ‘breaking the fourth wall’ thing went next level. There weren’t enough people at work the next day for me to pester about how awesome it was.
